Studied Economics (BBA) and Finance (MBA) in the USA, followed by a PhD. Joined BASF Corporation in New York in 1967 (final position: Mgr. Marketing Services - USA). Transferred to Xerox Corporation in 1970. Was active in Europe (a.o. Head of the Special Business Division with responsibility for the business units Telecommunication, Medical Systems, Word Processing and Printing Systems).
Entered the Executive Search in 1988. Up to 1997 Partner and Shareholder of Germany's largest Executive Search firm, Mülder & Partner Unternehmensberatung GmbH. After the sale of the company to a US competitor in 1997, joined Spencer Stuart. Was active as Country Manager Germany, Vice Chairman Europe and Head of the European Board Practice until December 2002.
The main focus of Hermann Sendele’s professional activities are matters of Corporate Governance and Chairmen and CEO search projects on a national and international level. Since 2003 Partner of Board Consultants International.
