University degrees in the USA: BBA in Economics and MBA in Finance, followed by a PhD. Started his professional career with BASF Corporation (New York). Thereafter joined Xerox Corporation; final position: Head of the Special Business Division in Central Europe (BU’s Printing Systems, Telecommunication, Medical Systems, and Word Processing).
Entered Executive Search in 1988 after 20 years of industry experience in the area of corporate strategy, marketing, sales and up to the level of Division Head.
Up to 1997, Partner and co-owner of Germany's largest Executive Search firm, Mülder & Partner Unternehmensberatung GmbH. After the majority of the partners had decided to sell this consulting firm to a US competitor, he joined Spencer Stuart in 1997 as Country Manager Germany, followed the position Vice Chairman Europe and Head of the European Board Practice. In 2003, co-founder of Board Consultants International as executive search firm specialized in the recruitment of senior executives on a national and international level.
The main focus of his activities is on the Chairman and CEO level throughout Europe.
